Well after days on end of trying to get leopard installed perfectly on my laptop i have taken it off within 12 hours of use... (didnt want too.. but im going to go for tiger 10.4.10)

I needed the internet on leopard so i installed belkin drivers for my usb belkin adaper... after i install those drivers it stops ALL usb ports working.. no usb works at all after that...

If i plug my USB memory stick the light flashes for a split second then remains off and doesnt show on the desktop.. if i plug in a usb mouse the light shows on but the mouse doesnt work...

dont know if anyone else is getting this problem

not sure about belkin drivers. I would think that installing OSX drivers of any kind on my leopard installation may potentially screw up the system if it's not specifically a hackintosh driver written by the guru's here. I suggest you try to find the kext that you installed and remove it from the system.

other than that I would try booting only with one usb device at a time, then plug in others when osx started, try different combinations.

good luck
