tvarga
I have two different 3-4 year old laptops ... a thinkpad and a toshiba. I'm trying to install with the iATKOS_v1.0i.iso dvd and in both cases am running into the following problem almost immediately: Extension "com.apple.driver.ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin" has immediate dependencies on both com.apple.kernel and com.aple.kpi components; use only one style. Does anybody have any idea what's going on? Will neither laptop be able to run osx? Is there anything else I can try?

tvarga
I have another new T60 laptop at work that I don't want to install on, but I tried the same dvd on it. In this case, it gets all the way to asking where I want to install it. So, I don't think that it's a problem with the DVD-R. Since 2 somewhat older laptops (as well as other people) have the problem, there must be some common issue. I just don't know where to begin. Any other thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
