Brywalker
I have a Mac Mini that we just bought from my "local" Apple Store. It is NOWHERE near me and is a real pain to find time to get to. Long story short, it has the combo drive and Leopard wasn't in the box. I called the store and they want me to return the whole computer for a new one just to get a freaking Leopard disc. I don't have the time or energy to do this nonsense, so I need to burn a copy to install because I can't find my other freaking original. DVD+R DL can't be read on this thing (won't read the 2nd layer) so I need to make a single layer install disc with a script (like Brazil Mac's) but not for OSX86. Can someone give me a hand here? ~pcwiz
I'm sure you can find an ISO of the Retail Leopard disc somewhere in your "local usual" places, if you know what I mean Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/79220-single-layer-leopard-installer/#findComment-561372 Share on other sites
The Baron
This is a good guide - as ~pcwiz says you'll need the original image first. http://web.mac.com/owenmcgarry/iWeb/Downlo...ayer%20DVD.html Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/79220-single-layer-leopard-installer/#findComment-561397 Share on other sites
Brywalker
Thanks for that link. I made a backup of the original, I just can't find it!!! So I have the image to work with, but this combo drive didn't want anything to do with the DL disc I burned (even with bitsetting set to DVD-ROM). I will try this.
