MovieMaker
How does one backup leop 10.5.1 after it is installed. since I don't have sound, I am doing some experimenting. I need to back it up first. It may get to the point where it panics or doesn't boot. If that happends, I would like to go back where I am now. I am enjoying my NET and Video. But , no sound and SAFE boot only. The specs are listed in my previous post above. Thank You!! :-)

MovieMaker
yes , I do. I had a post previous right before. I don't know what happened to it. In it I had the following I believe: ASRock 1333 DVI/H Conroe Mother board 7300GT Video card. Kalyway's 10.5.1 LAN works fine. Video works fine. 1st problem: no audio 2nd problem: only boots up in safe mode (-x) need to know how to install Bootfix and where do I get the program. Thanks, :-)
BJMoose
SuperDuper and CopyCatX work fine for backing up also.
JonyBravo
SuperDuper and CopyCatX work fine for backing up also. I have heard that some cannot get Time Machine to work. I have installed 10.5.1 Kalyway and Time Machine is working. To restore, just boot up on your install CD, select UTILITIES, DISK UTILITY and restore from a Time Machine backup. I may have the menu sequence wrong, but there is an option to restore from a Time Machine backup somewhere. Cheers.
