nate256
I am using the Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 for my CPU http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...p?EdpNo=2643933 (can you get all of the cores detected? i have hard you need to disable 1 or two. how does that effect the speed?) for my motherboard i am using XFX NForce 680i LT SLI Mobo http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/se...p?EdpNo=2959594 ( i have heard the 680i chipset isn't very compatible with OS X so what is the best chipset and mobo that work with the core 2 quad?) and putting 2 gigs of ddr2 at 800mhz in http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...p;Sku=T555-5070 how does this build look?? i am really wondering if the Mobo will work okay with 10.5.1. if you know what patches would i need if i need any? also can you suggest a good SATA dvd burner?? joelsama
I too would be interested in seeing answer to this problem. I have a very similar system and am having issues that I can't trace. It would be good to try and pin down the problem. And if this matters to anyone: I HAVE purchased a copy of Leopard. Some people might care a little more after reading that...
