I need your help to boot up Leopard 10.5.1 Kalyway.

I succesfully installed on an external USB HDD on my Asus F9S laptop (Core2Duo, BIOS 302, T7300/2Ghz, 2Gb DDR2 667, nVidia 8400MG), creating a single partition using Kalyway diskutil, GUID formatted.

To boot from Kalyway DVD I used cpus=1 as bootflag.

From custom install I selected only vanilla (both options) and GUID bootloader.

Install completed without problems.

Then, thanks from a guide I found, I rm Extensions.* from my HDD/System/Library, and replaced AppleAPIC.kext and AppleMPIC.kext on Extensions folder, with the same files from DVD. Last step i used diskutil to repairPermissions to my HDD installed Leo.

No way to boot from HDD, using -v I can see:

MAC Framework successfully initialized

using 10485 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers

and the Asus is frozen..... :(

No way booting using -x, vanilla....

I really don't know what else to try, hope someone here can help me.

Thanks in advance and happy new Hack2008 !

Max
