ok finaly got mac osk 10.5 kalway to boot, tried jas 10.4 to . but to my dismay it just hung at the first grey boot screen showing the apple. the screen then semed to disolve showing one horizontal line then loads of vertical lines then the image seemed to fade away and just hang there all whitey grey... after days of messing around with the b0 error finaly got paragon boot cd to boot and followed the flag2 tut to set the active partition, mac then booted but to a hanging first screen..grrrr . been doing this for days trying to get it to work...

well it seems the sony vaio vgn-fe28b does not work..maybe its down to the 2 cores or the gfx card..that being a ti2300 dual core and nvidia 7400go..

i dont know???

maybe i need to do somthing to files of osx i dont know..but for people searching for there laptop the fe28b will not work...

I had exactly this problem with a sony z5... but I solved it using Jas 10.4.8 and not installing ANY video drivers... then used THIS gma950 kext... Don'T know if your model has the option of not using the nvidia 7400, but if it does turn it off (stamina mode)...

Worked like a charm thereafter.

hope that helps,

regards,

ninetto
