Line47=) Posted December 30, 2007 Share Posted December 30, 2007 I have installed leopard on my computer. I used Kalyway leopard 10.5.1 Everything works except sound. I have got IP35-E in computer. In windows under Device manager it says I have got; High Definition Audio Controller. mamunjoy Posted December 31, 2007 Share Posted December 31, 2007 To fidn the device id and model, go into Device Manager, right click on HD Audio controller and click on properties.You should see the device and vendor id in the properties window google for "azalia" or "conxtent" driver for mac os x, this might give you stereo channel 2:1 out put, but no mic... diver for os x 10.4 will do the same, at least mine worked. good luck Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

gica Posted January 3, 2008 Share Posted January 3, 2008 Hey Filip if you've fixed your sound ALC888 did you get a codec dump somewhere or you did it yourself,I tried following the guide on the thread you mentioned but I still don't get the 2 channel out,I have the Abit IP35-E and I changed all the divice and vendor IDs still no hardware shown or sound,i have ICH9 chipset,can you help to show what you did to get the sound going,thanks bud.
