Leopard 10.5.1 release for AMD

with Geforce 6600 GT

and MSI k8N motherboard

at any rate, i was wondering if anyone is getting this problem.. I am a newbie here, and I have done significant research... I am almost at the perfect installation, and would like some answers cleared if anyone is just passing by.

But lets get to the current problem.

1.) Surfing the web seems to be working fine, however if i was to download something (firefox, and safari) basically if i download something, it freezes the whole computer, or if i go to youtube and watch a video it seems to be freezing as well... this occurs with firefox and safari..... I am guessing this has something to do with nforce drivers... it just seems like if i download fast it crashes the entire computer...... if anyone has any ideas of what to do that would be amazing... as this seems to be the only problem I am having....

now to the tid bits of questions that if anyone is kind of enough to answer, that would be great.... i have done as much research as I have and got my computer to basically be where i want it to be, but am still missing a few more issues...

1.) do I really need geforce.kext and all related geforce extension files, after I installed Titan.kext? It took me forever to get my video card to display full 1680x1050... but i was curious, as i think that geforce stuff was what caused most of my problems... I mean i deleted the geforce.kext file and it seems to be booting fine..

2.) is Tiger a more stable release for os X86?

at any rate, once i can get web browsing working better i would be super happy with going through all this trouble.. totally worth it once it works perfectly..

thanks again for all the help.
