Edootjuh
I have this problem with my Apire 5920g, my keyboard sometimes doesn't work, and if it doesn't I just restart until it does. Have you restarted a lot? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/78737-laptop-keyboard-never-work/#findComment-558698 Share on other sites

tempest619
Wow you are my new hero! I used a usb keyboard and bluetooth moust to install, and had working ethernet right off the bat. I unplugged the keboard and turned off bluetooth and found my internal laptop keyboard and trackpad were dead. A few reboots with -x and -f were no help, I never new about the -legacy command. Now my keyboard and trackpad work everytime. Thanks! Now off to try and get the video resoultion higher and fix the 2200bg. This is a vgn-t350p viao if anyone was interested. Gujal
Do you realize "-legacy" puts the OS into 32 bit mode instead of 64 bit. The correct way to get Laptop Keyboard and trackpad to work is to install ACPIPS2NUB.kext. Search for it in the forums.
