chobOOO
I have a Gateway T-Series Notebook AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-58 1.90Ghz Memory 1150MB System Type - 32 Bit Operating System. SMBIOS 2.4 160GB ATA HDD ATI Radeon Xpress 1270 I downloaded, extracted, and burned the Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.1 for AMD SSE2/SSE3 (32bits). My problem is whenever I boot it and then the install comes up, I know you go into Disk Utility , erase, etc. go to next step. But when I go into Disk Utility, the harddrive does not show. I splitted the partitions (60GB for MAC) and resized it using Acronis Disk Director, formatted to FAT32 also. I was also reading the big topic New AMD DVD for leopard, and someone said to insert this in to make your partition readable. fdisk -e /dev/rdiskX --> Letter update f X--> Letter w q reboot I tried that in Terminal and in the beginning of the boot, but it says it cannot be found. I am very confused because I have been looking reading and searching everywhere for hours -.- and still no solution. I only read stuff like people having the same problem as me, but no SOLUTION If somebody can at least reply something back if it's possible or not, it would be appreciated. Thank you

Sorry, but is there anyway to install on sata? What install disk are you using? iATKOS found my sata drive with no problems at all. I am also using a laptop, so I do not have any fancy bios settings I can change. This installer and the XxX tiger install disk are the only ones that can see my dive. I recommend trying one of those. edit: I just realized this was an AMD thread. Sorry guys....
