Blinking "_" error.

Ok I installed mac os x 86 or whatever it is (prepatched uphuck version) and everything went fine, I think... Anyway, when I repoot my computer at the end it just shows a little blinking "_" at the top left hand of the screen. And it just bilnks there at me for a long time and nothing happens. I did some research and found out that this is a b0 error, but all of the guides I found to set my disk as "active" are all for partitioned drives, and mine is a full install on its own hard drive. So how cah I fix this little problem I am having? Thanks

I am having the same problem. So you found something that said that this was a b0 error? I didn't know this.

 

I previously installed JaS 10.4.6 on my 2nd HD and fixed the b0 error by going into Vista, clicking the Vista logo and typing in "diskpart" (without quotes). Once I was there I typed "List disk", once the disks where listed, I typed "select disk 1" (disk 1 is the 2nd hard drive if you have dual hard drives. disk 0 is the first hard drive). Then I typed "list partition", after they were listed, choose the partition you have OS X on (for me it I typed "select partition 1" because I'm using OS X for the whole drive). After that, type "Active" and it should say something like "Partition 1 active".

 

This is not the end. restart your computer and hit F2 to enter BIOS. Go and disable your primary hard drive (so that your 1st HD doesn't start up forcing it to use your OS X HD), hit F10 to exit and save, then select YES and press enter. Your computer should reboot again into OS X. At least thats how I fixed the b0 error with JaS 10.4.6.
