power off message

ok so i couldnt get leopard to boot after successful install so now no matter what each time i insert(with or without vanilla kernel) i get the message that i need to turn off power. what do i do now?

 

heres a image of da power off message(my digital camera broke so had 2 get da image from a different thread):

i even tried using the dell media direct cd to reformat the WHOLE hard drive and still get this message

boot with vebose mode ! at darwin boot loader type -v and you 'll see where kernel panic occur ! ttake a screen shot please :unsure: !

 

ok sorry for the long time to reply but i went into the bios and turned the flash cache module off & set the hard drive mode from ahci to ata and now the leopard installer booted. just wondering two things:

1) should i use guid or mbr

2) should i use the vanilla kernel as well or not
