I unistall it and want my old driver back. Hwo can i get my old driver back? Please help. 00diabolic Posted December 26, 2007 Share Posted December 26, 2007 As far as I know in OSX there is no driver roolback like in XP. From what I understand OSX registers that driver in Extensions.mkext & stores it in system/library/extensions. However you can delete extensions.mkext/kext (I think there the same kinda file) and it will rebuild itself. So if you uninstalled your driver and wanted to use the old one all you would have to do is throw it in system/library/extensions and then chown/chmod the file repair permissions and delete extensions.mkext (or use kext helper). Anyway I think thats how it works. Anyone feel free to correct me I've kinda wondered this myself.
