m42
Hello All, I installed iatkos over the weekend, so far I've been really impressed, everything is working really well. There are two problems though. First, I have no mac key on my keyboard. All the shortcuts need you to use the special mac key. Is there anyway to get the system to recognize my win key as the mac key. Second is the screen goes blank on resolution changes, the only way to get the screen to come back on is to have power savings put the display to sleep, then when you move the mouse it wakes the screen up and its fine again. So everytime I start my machine I need to wait for the display to go into powersavings. And there is no chance of playing any games requiring a resolution change. If anyone can give me some pointer on how to fix this I would greatly appreciate it! thtux
Hi Mike Not really a solution but it may help you... Try to write an Apple-Script which changes the resolution, switches screen to powersave-mode and back. Should be possible. AcidRain9
If you have the option try changing your resolution again and switching the Graphics out plug. if you are using VGA change the resolution and then switch to DVI you may have to do it quickly since there are usually only 15 seconds before it switches back. This worked for me on Tiger 10.4.8 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/77948-blank-screen-on-resolution-change/#findComment-588108 Share on other sites
