oLdsk3wL
Is it in OS X 10.4.3 possible to convert a NTFS partition to a HFS+ partition? And is it possible without losing the data?
DR490N
sure, it's possible to convert, just re-format it to HFS+ you will need another partition or drive large enough to hold your data durring the format though... hard drives are cheep, just check newegg... 250GB for $98 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16822144154
oLdsk3wL
So there is no way wihtout losing my data? btw: On these 2 partitions, which I want to convert, I can only "read", I got no rights to "write" on these hdds. That's just the case, because they formated as NTFS, is it right? Or is there another possibility, to get "write" rights for these partitions?
