shila
Posted this already in the porting forum. There is interest in this because 50 people read this but nobody responses! Hello, Let me say this first: "I have absolutly no programming/building skills!!" I would like to build a universal binary of bochs 2.2.5, but I´ve had no luck! Even when following apples guides to build universals out of "configure"-base OpenSource Projects all I get when the build finishes is a ppc binary. I´m trying to build on an Intel System OS X 10.4.3 (8F1111(g)) with Xcode 2.2.1. Is there anyone who can produce a universal build and post it somewhere? shila Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/7789-bochs-225-universal-binary/ Share on other sites
antrunix
WinTel is our popular Cocoa graphical user interface used to control the included powerful underlying open-source "Bochs" x86 emulation software (Bochs is pronounced as Box). We now include both PowerPC and Intel optimized binaries. http://openosx.com/wintel/ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/7789-bochs-225-universal-binary/#findComment-48818 Share on other sites
errandwolfe
Has anyone actually tried this software yet? How well does it actually run Windows on an Intel Mac? Some user reviews would be nice here. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/7789-bochs-225-universal-binary/#findComment-48823 Share on other sites

I´m only interested in a uni build of bochs or someone who can guide me to do it on my own! shila Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/7789-bochs-225-universal-binary/#findComment-48839 Share on other sites

DrJägermeister
This thread is existing 2 times. I think this one is useless, the bochs binary is in the other. http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=7707 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/7789-bochs-225-universal-binary/#findComment-49721 Share on other sites

errandwolfe
http://www.macminute.com/2006/01/18/virtual-pc/ Let's hope they do decided to make an Intel VPC. As much as I hate to admit it, on G4/G5's VPC was the best emulator out there. Now that emulation wouldn't be needed, only virtualization, god there are some Windows only apps I would love to run in the blissful state of Maciness.
