spanakorizo Posted December 25, 2007 Share Posted December 25, 2007 no good patch Kalyway for example jmicron will boot if you even leave everything as IDE in bios no need for AHCI any more ,even in installation (in kalyway) iATKOS with this patch now load jmicron kext but if you set in IDE: you'll get kernel panic ,if you set it to AHCI :still waiting for root device wtf? and the darwin loader still not works for me ,i had to boot with rd=disk0s1 and everything is ok with my disk installed in empty IDE disk ,partitioned with diskutulity mbr (first formated it in xp as fat32 and set active) i'm thinking to mix kalyway and iatkos somehow or patch my own vanilla leopard dvd (i own 1 at work) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/77863-iatkos-r2-patch-jmicron-etc/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
