ripken204
right now i have Darwin as my main boot menu with the options of Leopard and Vista on it. it loads both of them perfectly. the thing that i want to change is that when it Darwin shows up, it just counts down before it goes to Leopard, but if i want to go to Vista i have to press F8 then select Vista. how can i make it so that each time i turn on the comp that Darwin goes straight to the F8 menu? Edootjuh
You need to set the partition with Vista as active (or boot), and use chain0 to add Leopard to the Boot menu of Vista. Edootjuh
I don't think that's possible, you could maybe use grub. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/77700-darwin-boot-options/#findComment-553762 Share on other sites
Hyper X
You can use the wait command in your boot.plist and set it to however many seconds. Then all you need to do is push any key in that time to bring up the darwin bootloader. I use 10 seconds! Neonkoala
http://www.neonkoala.co.uk/faqs/16-booting...rwin-bootloader Hopefully that'll help you figure out how to modify it to automatically come up rather than pressing F8. You could also try Netkas's bootloader - http://netkas.org Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/77700-darwin-boot-options/#findComment-555325 Share on other sites
