infty Posted December 24, 2007 Share Posted December 24, 2007 ...so my new 1TB disk here is really, really useless! I'm not running an nForce chipset. JMicron here. (Arguably worse...) Oh, also - the disk utility on the kalyway setup dvd worked just fine and detected everything perfectly...how can i 'copy' that functionality? Any hints as to how this gets fixed? I tried to search this forum but found nothing... Only something about a copy of the leopard beta and legacy ide support, which i doubt has anything to do with my specific problem...? This was when I used MBR. later, I went back and did it again, (using GUID) and it was fine. what formatting did you use?
