blood_brother
There's a way to load kext at installation? Recently medievil releases a new driver to nforce sata, so how can I load this extension at JaS 10.4.8 dvd installation? Thanks!
blood_brother
Well, I'm trying something, I formated my pendrive as hfsplus in my Linux box, copy the AppleNForceATA.kext to it. So I start installation, mount my pendrive and try to do a kextload -e -l -v AppleNForceATA.kext but it tells that I don't have some dependencies: com.apple.iokit.IOATAFamily com.apple.iokit.IOPCIFamily com.kernel.iokit How can I load this dependecies? Hagar
Interesting approach, dunno if it has any merit. Traditionally, the solution is to rebuild the kextcache (see macgirls guide to reducing DVD boot time), write it back to the DVD-image (mounted read/write), burn & boot.
