papillon68
I don't know if it will help others but I solved the issue on my 3 computers in the following way: 1) enabled NIC card in BIOS (it is usually disabled on my systems since I have a wireless network) 2) at boot prompt I started using the following parameters: -x -v -f rd=disk0s1 Now it get through the Welcome screen and completes the installation. Notice that I must use rd=disk0s1 because I still have the issue (I should say plague) of the left top blinking cursor. I have to leave my iatkos dvd into the drive and the I can boot from the hard drive. Don't know yet how to solve it. Let me know if the above instructions are helpful for you as well. good night ! papillon68
Tested both Kalyway and iatkos, indeed they both pass the "Welcome Screen" only IF they can recognize a Nic. Anyone managed to make it work as well ? Let me know ...
Selayan
The blinking screen is a partition activation problem I think. I have a welcome video reloop, does the fix u provided work for that?
