acidizer
Hello there guys. I'm writing this post in order to share my installation's experience as well as the problems I had to deal with. -First, got an amd Leopard image, burned it, etc etc. -Managed to get a single IDE HD to do the job, unformatted. -Got it to boot, but the first problem appeared; If i didn't press any key at the boot options it would show me the “com.apple.Boot.plist not found” error. -I decided to enter the -v command, and it started booting. -The osX menu appeared, then i formatted the harddrive I'm using with Journaling and got the MBR set to that partition in order to avoid the error last exposed. -It installed ok, giving me a couple of crashes during the install, and rebooted normally. -After that, I removed the DVD, and the boot just wouldnt happen. -Tried to boot it again with the DVD, and it really started loading the boot sequence until i get a crash with: localhost mds[23]: (/.Spotlight-V100/Store-V1/Stores/0096C776-D8A5-477A-BC97-C60C33BEC3EC)(Error) IndexCI in ContentIndexOpenBulk:No index With all this, since some of the users might have some installation experience, am I doing anything wrong? Thanks in advance! P.S.: I now found that I can't use both sudo or nano commands This is getting a bit weird...
