Hi cyclonefr,

I just downloaded the attached keylayout and copied it into /System/Library/Keyboard Layouts and changed my International Input preferences to use this attached keyboard layout...

Question: how can I type for example the "#" character now? ALTGR+3 doesn't seem to work for me...

Thx for your reply ;)

First of all, be sure to copy it to

/System/Library/Keyboard Layouts

or

/Library/Keyboard Layouts

or

/Users/YourNameGoesHere/Library/Keyboard Layouts

After this you LOG OUT and LOG IN again

Then you go to System Preferences - International - Input Menu

New keyboard layout should now be available in the list...

I copied the "Clavier Vaio FR.keylayout" file to "/System/Library/Keyboard Layouts" but it's still invisible in "System Preferences/International/Input Menu" (I restarted Mac OS X before going there).

Have I missed something?
