Hey guys, I know it has been written a lot about this topic, but I read almost the whole forum and didnt find the solution.

On fresh installed leo i was able to read from ntffs. Than I installed macfuse and restarted the comp. After that I installed ntfs-3g and restarted. When the system booted, I wasnt even able to read from ntfs anymore. Here is the screenshot how the ntfs partition looks like in disk utility:

I also tried with paragon ntfs for mac, but no success.

Any help?

OK, I found the solution...

The ntfs-3g.fs file was installed in /System/Library/Filesystems and the fusefs.fs was in /Library/Filesystems. I just copied both files in both folders and now ntfs works with write and read!

Just in case someone else has the same problem...

Any help?

Are you running the newest versions of macfuse and ntfs-3g?

Macfuse:

http://macfuse.googlecode.com/files/MacFUS...-10.5-1.1.1.dmg

NTFS-3g

http://hem.bredband.net/unsound/ntfs-3g/NT...-catacombae.dmg

Newest versions installed automatically to correct locations and work flawlessly for me.
