Hey all,

I have an inexpensive Presario V2000 laptop that I would like to install osx86 on. It's got an AMD processor and it's SSE2-only, so I'm not sure if it would run very well. Here are the specs:

AMD Sempron 1.8 Ghz (SSE2)

512Mb Ram

60gb HD

14.4" widescreen display

ATI Radeon Express 200M

As you can see, not the greatest specs, but tiger runs on less capable macs, so I'm just wondering.

Thanks :D

P.S: If it is possible to setup, I'd love it if someone could point me to a solution that doesn't make me download a whole new image, and lets me make my own as I have tiger or leopard disks at my disposal (I own an iMac).

Well I've tried Kalyway 10.4.10, which gives me "Waiting for root device" no matter what I try (-legacy, -x, etc)

and Kalyway 10.5.2 makes it all the way to 8 minutes left in the install and then freezes.

Any tips?
