buraisu
I have a dell, with hardware that will be compatible from what I have seen in this forum with Leopard. I took the hard drive out of it and threw it in a usb enclosure so that I could hopefully install from my iBook, and then install efi and put it back into the dell. Unfortunately, because PPC gen Mac's use the Apple Partition Map scheme if I try to install with either GUID or MBR I get a message that says 'This drive is not bootable and OS X will not be installed' Is there a way I can work around this, I can always dump the dvd onto my ibook and edit it there, I won't be able to durn a dvd however it doesn't have a super drive. I figure I could just run the osinstall.pkg, but I need to figure out how to bypass the partition scheme thing. any ideas?
