Simon Jackson
i have a laptop that needs bluetooth. Is there an internal laptop wifi/bluetooth combo card that works well with leopard? One that supports a2dp would be ideal. If it matters, my laptop is an acer aspire 5610z Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/76341-best-wifibluetooth-card/ Share on other sites
macgirl
AFAIK that there is no BT/WiFi combo card. USB BT dongles from Microsoft work very good. elmetal
the 5610 has a bluetooth slot specifically for a bluetooth card. I have a 5610 so Im aware of that. what I don't know is if it works with osx. I know Ive seen 5610's with working bt on osx. so Im guessing it does.. I know this is "unethical" but I wouls suggest going to your local big name store (compusa, best buy, walmart) getting the bluetooth thing if they have them, checking it out, if it works, return and buy online. ebay is filled with them. make sure you check how many pins, different acers use different pin combinations or something Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/76341-best-wifibluetooth-card/#findComment-539208 Share on other sites
