chicagofilms
I have an AMD system with 10.4.10 running sweet as can be on a 60gb partition. I'd like to move it to another 500gb drive and have it use the whole disk instead of just moving a 60gb partition. Is is possible to do this? If so, how? glassJAw
Start up Disk Utility. Click your current hard drive and click the Restore Tab. Drag your CURRENT MAC OS X Hard drive to the Source Area, then drag your 500 Gigabyte hard drive to the Destination area and click restore. Then swap the hard drives when complete and it's done. chicagofilms
Thanks, I'll give it a shot this weekend. I had looked at Disk Utility, but must have missed that. Or is it only possible when booting into the utility?
