This thread tells how I did this to enable ICH8R to install Leopard. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=511085 If you use your PCI IDs instead, it just might work. Post your results. HD Model-ST9160821AS ATA Device (ide mode) I am trying to install leapord 10.5.5 on vista.but during installation disk utilities is not recognized HD.i heard that HD should change to ahci mode to get it.but i am not getting option to change my laptop.i tried F10,F2,Del,F9 all other which displayes during boot. so,can anybody help me to change my sata to ahci mode or is there any way to get HD to recognize.
