sh0td0wn
OK! I wanted to try out Leopard and if it works be my main OS. I downloaded Zephyroth's 10.5.1 AMD release for 68 hours! (I have a pretty fast connection but the seeders were a pain in the ass!) I created my partition in diskpart. I burned the ISO and then I restarted my computer. I get this right when my computer starts up after the HP sign. The disc doesn't even boot! EBIOS READ ERROR: DEVICE TIMEOUT BLOCK 589472 Sectors 64 UPDATE: I can boot off the disc now... well kind of... having the "Still waiting for root device" problem. Maybe I should get my other older DVD drives? My system: HP Pavilion a1540n Asus A8M2N-LA (NodusM) AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ (AM2) 2048MB DDR2 PC400 533mhz nVidia GeForce 6150LE 64MB (Integrated but upgrading to nVidia GeForce 8600 GTS 256MB very soon) LITE-ON DVDRW SHW-160H6S DVD burner (ATA... which I think is IDE) SAMSUNG SP2504C 250GB SATA-II HDD
