My main use for MBP is traveling, what do you guys think about traveling with the 17''? Do you all find it bulky? Do you find it easy to use on the bus, train, plane etc.. sarahbau Posted December 12, 2007 Share Posted December 12, 2007 I don't have a 17", but I used to have a 15.4" PowerBook, and I would not have wanted a bigger laptop on the plane. Even the 15" was a bit big for coach. If you fly first class, the 17" might be OK. The main problem wasn't with the width or depth of the computer, but the screen height. Someone leaning their seat back would cause the screen to be pushed down a bit. I normally ended up having to use it on my lap rather than the tray, and it got quite hot.
