ozzie123 Posted January 24, 2006 Share Posted January 24, 2006 Okay guys, I'm a complete newbie here, but I was wondering. Is it possible to install OSx86 on my Acer Travelmate 4062NLMi laptop? Here's the spec: Intel Pentium M 740 (Sonoma I think with 533MHz FSB) -- without SSE3, need maxxus patch Intel GMA 900 (graphic card - PCIe) Intel i915PM/GM/GMS (motherboard) And onboard soundcard, not sure what it is... So, what do you think. Can I install OSx86 on this kind of system? ozzie123 Posted January 24, 2006 Author Share Posted January 24, 2006 Yeah, after checking awhile through wiki, it seems that the motherboard generally works fine with OSx86 (although I can't find the exact match) and the GMA 900 also works without patch.
