h4n9m4n
i recently just installed tulip to support my Kingston KNE111tx fast ethernet adapter. Whether i use manual configuration or automatic configuration, whenever i open up firefox/safari i get about one second of internet (i.e. a page loads, or part of a page) then my internet stops. i cant do anything else to have more internet time but to restart my computer and get one second more. In network diagnostic it shows internet as a yellow dot and server as a yellow dot. all the others are green dots. how do i solve this? i have Verizon DSL, and the modem is a modem/router combo. It works perfectly with windows and linux. dunno why it would cut off internet for OSX though. or maybe its just my settings. help would be appreciated. Technobob
This Tulip is a driver is it not and if it is thats your problem. The driver would have been writen for PPC systems, so using it on a Intel system it's going to crash. You will need to remove it and restore your native network card drivers. If your card is not supported native then you will need to buy a new one that is. miguelcerca
i just recently started getting a similar problem. i installed the universal firefox and now when i start my computer the internet works fine for a while, then after an undetermined amount of time says it is no longer connected to the internet. it will not work until i restart the computer. then the same thing happens. is this a problem with firefox?
