josh256 Posted December 11, 2007 Share Posted December 11, 2007 Just a post to say thumbs up so far on a GA-P35-DQ6 running EFI+Vanilla 10.5.1 mobo-wise: NIC: works SATA: all 6 orange working simultaneously, both purple/Jmicron detecting (in system profiler) AUDIO: solution posted (untested, currently using M-Audio gear) http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...&hl=p35-dq6 EHCI: detected (system profiler) i.1394: detected (system profiler) Shutdown: not working yet Sleep: Not tested (will try ToH 9.1.0 SSE3 sleep) HW Config: GA-P35-DQ6 q6600, 8GB DDR2, 512MB 7300 GT (had to reflash bios using gotoh method and installed NVinject 0.1.3), 1x10K RPM raptor (boot), 2x7200rpm 500GB-32MB (RAID-1 scratch), 1x7200 250GB (time machine) 1xDVR-212D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ic3b0x Posted December 24, 2007 Share Posted December 24, 2007 I've just installed iAtkos on my GA-P35-DQ6... It's also running EFI+Vanilla 10.5.1! The audio solution works, don't now if it enables inputs and 7.1 surround, but at least the stereo output works perfectly... Shutdown also works for me, but no restart. Another thing, I can't put the display to sleep, it just doesn't sleep... And if I try to sleep the computer it just freezes and won't come back, and the display never sleeps... I'll try to test time machine and tell you the results here, if you have any success with any of these problems please let me know! josh256 Posted January 5, 2008 Author Share Posted January 5, 2008 That's to be expected (only supported HW raid solution is a PCI-e card purchased through Apple *edit: not sure if this works on a hack mind you*).. unless someone has ported chipset specific RAID drivers (which I doubt).
