leglode Posted December 10, 2007 Share Posted December 10, 2007 Hi all, I have buy a notebook for my wife and i want to offert it to her with osx (i have macs but she don't want mac for now). I hope to could convert her to mac I have some pb during install of 10.5 Toh and 10.4.8 Jas. The pb is the same, the computer load the install DVD, in verbose mode i haven't any bad warning but after a time the pc reboot :censored2: I have found the issue but i don't know how to solve it. The issue is simple : Osx install don't let my fan work. I have open the pc to see better and the fan is correctly connected (and work on vista and during bios work at power on when i start the pc just after a reboot (it's hot). But when the osx computer start, the fan stop and never start again. Someone could help me please, i want to do all that before 24th december If someone know a better osx version, PM me. Is someone know a command to put at the start of the install to correct this pb? I have seen that somme ppl have this issue after the installation of the os and some solution are possible, but i cant' see any info about this pb during the install. Donw35 Posted December 10, 2007 Share Posted December 10, 2007 I am thinking its something in the bios, I have Toh 10.5.1 running on a HP NC8230 and the fan comes on and off when needed, its controled through the bios. But now, the install freeze on the blue screen just before the language choose Someone know what could creat this pb?
