I installed Jas 10.4.8 SSE2/SSE3 AMD/INTEL Components: Intel Pentium Duo dual core T2310(works) Texas Instruments™ PCIxx12 Integrated FlashMedia Controller conexant rd02-d330 data fax mdc modem Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 with 251MB video memory Built-in Atheros IEEE wireless network connection (802.11b/g) AR5006 Marvell Yukon 88E8039 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller ( Networking Built-in 10Base-T/100Base-TX Fast Ethernet LAN (RJ-45 connector) )(EDIT DEVICE ID FIXED) and sound card.(REALTEK fixed) plus... i don't think it detects AC power(APPLE DRIVER FIXED) model: sony vaio vgn-nr110e looks like a big problem. should i upgrade to leopard? is there any drivers for those components (tiger and leopard) thanks. P.S.: does the led indicator had to do with these? safeguard Posted December 24, 2007 Share Posted December 24, 2007 I've got the same laptop and I used iAtkos to install leopard. The sound worked out of the box with hot keys, but the headphone/mic plugs do not work. The video appears to work okay, but I can't get the 1280x800 resolution. Wireless I can't figure out Ethernet I can't find drivers for, did you use something else? The flash memory readers don't work... as far as I know. Cardbus I haven't tested yet. Modem haven't tested. Any info you might have could greatly help me. When I install the driver for the soundcard(ALC888) it isn`t works. No output. In the sound settings shows the line-out(only) but no sound. Maybe sends out digital signal to my speaker? Can I configurate my sound settings advancedly? I`ve got an older PCI Audigy Sounds blaster soundcard but all people says it`s not a good choose for OSX86. really?
