Looking at buying a pc laptop for os x x86. What should I get. I know it should have sse3 and a 915g board. But I want to make sure everything works, firewire, wireless, display, etc. I'm looking for a laptop with 14 inch screen or smaller.

Any ideas for what parts the laptop should have to make it work wickedddd.

thanks

I know its cool to have a desktop running osx but in a laptop i think for cool factor, preformace, style, useability, battery lift, and size. you sould look at a iBook 12 or 14 inch on PPC i know its not intel but in PPC apps it will wipe the floor on any intel chip at the moment. its styleish, has a long battery life and osx and ilife included and it dosnt cost any more than a PC notebook. Or you can try your luck with a pc notebook installing osx, but wifi wont work without troble, GMA950 is nothing compared to the 9600 the ibook has and it wont have as many ports like firewire as the ibook.

Plus, On an iBook, you can run virtual PC for basic windows programs you might need to use. IE www.logmein.com - needs windows, I can't remote to a pc well in the mac. The Java control won't work, so under virtual PC, it works great. Not only that, mac programs are all compatable. :)
