BOL_fan
Hi guys, I just got my Bad Axe 2 through an Open Box deal on Newegg, and it's giving me a problem. After installing it, it boots up fine - the hard drives spin up, the fans come on, the lights come on, etc. Everything seems to be working. The problem is, nothing's coming out of my video card (7300 LE PCI express). I've tried both outputs and tried putting the card in different PCIx x16 slots in the motherboard, but I still just get the amber LED on my monitor. Furthermore, I've tried reseating the RAM in different slots, flashing the BIOS to the latest version, and of course making sure that all the proper power connections are in. The other thing I'm not sure about is that I'm using a Xeon 3075 1333 FSB processor with this board. It's not officially supported on this board by intel, but others have had luck with it on the BX2. Could this problem really be caused by an incorrect FSB? Do you think it's a hardware problem, or am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance for your help. weaksauce12
Which processor are you using? Tried a Q6600 plus a C2D, no dice. Running with some DDR2-800 and a PNY 7300GT. BOL_fan
Hm, well at least now I know the problem's possible with a compatible processor. Good luck with your RMA; I'll be ordering a replacement for mine in a few minutes.
