happycar
Have you tried reinstalling using different kernels? It might just be that the kernel you picked isn't right for you. Deleting those kexts would be a bad idea apparently. So if the system doesn't like them, it might be the wrong kernel! Which kernels is everyone using? Happycar, How do I check which kernel am I using and whether it is the right one? Also how do I install using different kernels? That's right, we will need to go a bit slow on this one - you are dealing with a genius here Await your response - assuming you have the patience to go through this process. Would be grateful if you do...

happycar
Does the JaS 10.4.8 distro have options for different kernels in the Mac OS installer? I know that on uphucks 10.4.9 (1.3) there are a whole bunch of kernels you can pick from. Perhaps if you try uphuck 10.4.9 (rev 1.3) you might have some more luck. It's on Mininova, just search for uphuck. Oh! That reminds me! Uphucks DOES have an option to remove that kext! I never really thought of it because I am not using an AMD system. The description on the kext when selected in the 10.4.9 installer is for some AMD systems. I'm guessing you guys are all having the same problem! Give uphuck a go and you should see it through Attached is a photo of the installer!
navskin
i cant even boot the dvd so i install os x on my intel pentium 4 system work great. still i would like to get it running on the AMD system. @arteck92 i have got the sam system setup as you but i have done some upgardes. amd athlon 64x2 4200+ asrock alive nf6g-vsta nvidia 8600gt (no this tho) 4gigs of ddr2 (arianet ram) all round a very good and stable system. but i would like os x on it that would be good. @happycar i have tryed uphuck and i did not work for me.
