I haven't used OSX on my PC since 10.4.3 and my old 10.4.3 DVD (that didn't require anything special to get goin) is hella scratched and not working. so naturally, im in XP and can't do all the DVD patching required to make the 10.5 ISO boot. is there anyway to patch the DVD ISO in XP so it can be booted normally? or am i going to have to install another version of OSX to patch the DVD etc.?

i've got this: Kalyway 10.4.10 (IntelSSE3 + V1.1_AMD&SSE2_Patch+fixes), almost finished now. also got a JaS 10.4.8 torrent downloading, as well as "Leopard GM 9a581 Patched for Intel PCs (SSE3 ONLY) and Patch". so, is installing one of these releases first and then updating with the 10.5 DVD possible? or do i have to patch the DVD and install 10.5 clean?

it's been a long while since i messed with osx86 so im pretty rusty. been searching this forum for a while now and every how-to i've read begins with the assumption that you already have some version of OSX running. i hope to god this Kalyway 10.4.10 will work and let me just update to 10.5 with the DVD, but i know that's just too easy to happen lol
