VicTheKnife
So while running windows, what is the best way to partition a hard drive to a HFS+ file system. Is there a nice program for it? Technobob
I have not use Partition Magic in long time but what you want to do is resize your windows drive freeing up unallocated space. Paprika
how do i create a partition in Partition Magic without attaching a file system? (unallocated) (partition magic newb) Okay, You wouldn't be really creating a new partition of "unallocated" space. You would be resizing all other existing partitions so you have space which is unused by other partitions.. know what I mean? Here is the flow you requested though: Open up PartitionMagic (PM) and find the physical drive you want this HFS+ Partition to be on. Rightclick on one of the existing partitions which you are willing to resize to make free space. Select "Resize/Move". Either enter a new size for that partition in MB(smaller than before.. duh!) or drag the end of the colored bar down till the partition reads to be a size which leaves what you want left over. Make sure the resize partition bar is as far left as possible for neatness Hit OK and then APPLY the changes. Hope that helps!
