I have na alienware m5500 and i have the stupid switch on the from to switch from onboard graphics to ati graphics. I can boot into onboard graphics fine but when i try to boot in to ATI 1600 i get black screen nothing else, even with an external monitor. If anyone has a slution for this please point us in the right direction. rob356 Posted January 7, 2008 Share Posted January 7, 2008 I have the VisionTec version of the x1300, and I used Uphuck 10.4.9 v.1.3, and all I had to do for the card is force it into 1024x1280. Try v1.3 By the way, most Dell systems have issues, so you might be in for a bumpy ride.
