i have 2 ethernet cards (10/100/1000) integrated in my motherboard (MSI K8N Diamond)

- Marvell Yukon Ethernet

- nForce4 LAN Ethernet

Osx 10.5.1 (using amd version 32 bit) installs perfectly the Marvell Yukon ethernet card, but it can't detect the nForce4 LAN.

I followed the instructions (wrote by planetbeing at http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=12933) but it still dosen't works.

No errors found in terminal while typing and it's installed in the system (i can see it in the installed Extensions under the "About this Mac" window.

i made it works while i was using osX Tiger 10.4.10. Will i need a specific kext driver for Leopard or am i doing something wrong?

thankou anyone who can help me ! ;)

sure ??? :) I think you're wrong...

go to windows (if you have both installed), disconnect the cable from the ethernet card and look what ethernet card gets disconnected...

i mean OsX leopard installs the Marvell Yukon ethernet card by default (no need to add kexts), but not the nForce one (the kexts are not integrated), so i think you should be in the same problem...

You can try too searching the extensions (in Abou this Mac) if you have installed the extension AppleYukon2 (or something)

i think it should be very strange if it's the opposite than me...

What is your device ID?

This is what i found in the device manager in Windows XP x64:

Marvell Yukon (working)

PCI\VEN_11AB&DEV_4362&SUBSYS_058C1462&REV_15\4&33B7D061&0&0058

NVIDIA nForce Ethernet (not working but installed on osX)

{1A3E09BE-1E45-494B-9174-D7385B45BBF5}\NVNET_DEV0057\4&25934AEF&0&01

is this ok ?
