foodfightr
Ok- so I successfully installed TIGER onto an IDE hard drive. Boots fine. No problems. I uninstalled my IDE hard drive and installed my SATA hard drive. I installed TIGER, installed fine- won't boot! When I turn on my computer it will POST but it won't go past that screen. It detects the drive and says I can press [ESC] for the boot menu or [DEL] for the bios settings, but neither of these keys work. It basically just locks up. If I unhook the SATA drive it will boot fine. How do I get it to boot with the MAC SATA drive? I don't have any problems booting from this SATA drive with windows installed. Is there a bios setting I should check maybe? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/74531-sata-hard-drive-bios-settings/ Share on other sites
