Mac boot into apple gray screen but after that my monitor turns off. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance!! Mac version: JaS.Mac.OS.X.10.4.8.AMD.Intel.SSE2.SSE3.PPF.1.Defiant.diskutil.biker880.ich7-R.patch.Integrated System: AMD athlon 64 bits 2800+ ATI radeon 9600 XT 2 gigs pc 400 ram format your computer/partition again using diskutility...then install Jas 10.4.8 again. when you get to the custom install bit where it gives the option of installing the essential software printer stuff fonts intel amd video drivers (not sure exactly what the names are) only install the first 4 things. but do install the intel or amd drivers (but not both) however don't install the video drivers (supposedly these are for specific computers and obviously not yours) cheers Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/74230-no-image/#findComment-527802 Share on other sites More sharing options...
