djulink
Hi all, Txs to the forum, I'm running OSX 10.4.10 with my laptop (IBM T42p). But I did not replace the darwin kernel used with the JaS 10.4.8 release : 8.8.1. My question is : do I need to replace it ? If yes, what would be the right one ? 'hope I'll get an answer. macbrush
You probably don't need to replace it if you're happy with it. However, it should be fun to experiement with different kernels. Just throw them into the root directory, and test them one by one. You just need to type out alt kernel's name in boot prompt to load another kernel than the default one.
