Hi! Me again...

I wanted to install vanilla kernel... I got to mv /mach_kernel /mach_kernel.patched ...

Then I couldn't continue, because the second file was corrupt... -.-

I rebooted then and now it says "Can't find mach_kernel" ... normal...

Now I need you guys, because I don't know, how to rename that file in it's old name in the terminal on the Install-DVD...

Can you tell me the command for that?

OSX is installed on disk0s2 ... :)

Thank you!

Hi!

I know... Maybe I didn't say exactly what I want to know...

I'm on the install dvd in the terminal...

I tried mv /dev/disk0s2/... :no such file or directory

I tried mv /Devices/disk0s2/... :the same

I tried mv /dev/rdisk0s2/... :the same

I need the complete command, so that it finds the file and I can rename it...
