karishbhr
I know OSx works on my machine... it has worked before with vanilla kernel even. I decided today that I wanted to dual boot XP. I started from scratch, set up two partitions, NTFS and MacOS Journaled. I installed XP successfully on its partition, it boots. I install OSx on its own partition and when I try to boot I get "error loading operating system", I did the post-patch and the problem persists In order to even type this I had to set my XP partition to active again. I know this problem is common but I have yet to find any solutions for it on this site. PLEASE HELP ME Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/73602-need-help/ Share on other sites

karishbhr
When I just set the partition as active (trying to use Darwin I assume) it gives me the error When I use Chain0 it gives me a chain booting error When I just tried Acronis, it didn't discover an operating system on the partition to boot from. I have MacDrive and I'm looking at the HD from within windows, everything seems normal Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/73602-need-help/#findComment-520410 Share on other sites
