spoonie
So, i have a Hackintosh that's working well beyond my expectations (i wasn't expecting much!) Asus P4PE Pentium 4 2.4ghz 896 ram Matrox G450 running in vesa3.0 mode Sound(patched) works ethernet worked by installing a dlink 538 card - it was automatically installed. osX 10.4.5, I think it's a JAS release. Basically, if i want to run dual monitors @ 1650x1080, will the FX5200 or 7800GT AGP cards detect and run two VGA, two DVI or a combination of DVI/VGA monitors? i've read about the Titan and Natit drivers, will i require those? I have an FX5200 in my G5, so i was hoping it might be plug'n'pray. Synaesthesia
Yeah, any of the 5, 6- or 7- series cards should work. You need a newer version of OS X to use Titan/Natit though. At least 10.4.8 with darwin version 8.8.1. I reccomend trying Uphuck 1.4i r3. It's a small download, and includes everything you need, SSE2 support, Natit dual and AGPart. http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...10.4.8#NVidia_2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/73407-when-everything-works-but-you-want-to-beef-up-the-video/#findComment-518779 Share on other sites

spoonie
i updated to the 10.4.8 jas sse2/sse3 ppf1 ppf2, used natit .01 and whammo, i'm in 1680x1050 goodness. shame about not using both ports, though, dualscreen like the 5200 in my G5 would have been epic. thanks for the help everyone! now that i have it working this far, i'll try for the dual as suggested above.
